Do I need to be musical or write the lyrics myself?
No. You only provide the story via a short questionnaire — I take care of the lyrics, music and vocals. Already have (part of) the lyrics yourself? I'm happy to work with that too.
How does it work?
In four steps: you place a request, fill in the questionnaire, I create and fine-tune the song, and you receive it — ready to share.
How personal does the song get?
Very personal: the song is built around the names, anecdotes and details from your questionnaire. The more specific your answers, the more personal the result.
What occasions is it for?
Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, clubs, companies and events — really any special moment.
How long does it take?
On average about 7 to 10 days, depending on how busy it is. In a hurry? The Deluxe package offers rush delivery.
What do I receive?
You receive 2 versions as mp3 (about 3 minutes each). Depending on your package also the lyrics as PDF, extra music styles and a lyric video.
How and when do I pay?
Up front, easily via iDEAL, PayPal or a payment link (Tikkie).
Can I request changes?
Yes. The number of revision rounds depends on your package; revisions can cover both the lyrics and the style.
Can I choose the language, style and voice?
Yes. In the questionnaire you indicate your preferences: language (Dutch or English), genre/style and e.g. a male or female voice.
May I use and share the song freely?
Yes. You may use, play and share the song — at your party, on social media or e.g. Spotify/YouTube. Business use is fine too.
How are the songs made?
Based on your personal story, combined with modern AI music tools that I carefully fine-tune until the song is just right.

Behind Songhook is Heye Haken, a music lover from Balkbrug who has made it his work to turn personal stories into real songs. With years of experience as a DJ, he knows better than anyone what a song does at a party, a wedding or a village event: the right vibe, lyrics that move you, and a melody that sticks.

Every song starts with your story. The names, anecdotes and details you provide form the basis, and with modern AI music tools he carefully crafts them into a full, professional-sounding song in the style that fits the occasion. Not off-the-shelf work, but a song that is truly yours.
